  4. Win32s is a subsystem created by Microsoft for the Windows 3.1x and Windows 
  5. for Workgroups(WfW) 3.1x 16-bit operating systems.  The Win32s libraries 
  6. allow Win3.1x and WfW 3.1x users to run Win32 (32-bit) applications on 
  7. their 16-bit operating systems.  Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) allows 
  8. Mosaic to use its Client Communication Interface (CCI) to communicate 
  9. with other applications.

  12. Windows NT and Windows 95 Users
  13. -------------------------------
  14. Windows NT v3.5 and Windows 95 are 32-bit operating systems with built-in 
  15. support for OLE.  WinNT and Win95 users should NOT install Win32s with OLE 
  16. on their computers.                            ^^^

  19. Windows 3.1x & Windows for Workgroups 3.1x

  22. Win32s v1.30a (1.30.166) is available in the Win32s directory.  We
  23. recommend all users upgrade to this latest version.  It address many 
  24. stability issues associated with v1.25a.  If you are not sure which 
  25. version of Win32s you have on your system, the version number can be 
  26. found in the /windows/system/win32s.ini file.  If you are using an 
  27. earlier version of 1.30, please upgrade.

  29. If you are not experiencing problems with Mosaic 2.0 and Win32s v1.25,
  30. there is no need to upgrade at this time.  However, we are adding 
  31. additional functionallity to Mosaic and v1.30 will be required at a 
  32. future date.

  35. NOTE:  Win32s Version found on the Microsoft ftp server does not contain 
  36. all of the OLE libraries.  You must use the version of Win32s we provide 
  37. on this ftp server to get Win32s with OLE.
